Kelly Willey, financial advisor will present a short workshop on some of the challenges women, in particular, face when planning their financial future....and some of the solutions that can be used to remedy these unique concerns.
We will also be collecting "lightly worn" business clothes to donate to Libertae, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women in our community reclaim their lives & self-sufficiency. We will be able to provide receipts for these donations for tax deduciton purposes.

(Our focus will be on educating each other, and giving back to the organizations dedicated to the welfare of our communities' female population. Each month we will have a guest speaker with the purpose of educating us in ways that will enrich our lives. We will also be a community minded group, with the intention of helping those women in our community that need our support. And of course, a great opportunity to meet other local women and share ideas, experiences and support!)

    Unfortunately, a light turn-out, due to a variety of reasons. Tough month due to weddings/graduations & the storm we all thought was coming! We will continue this meeting into July....hope to see you then!

    • “ At first it was thought we would call it off, because so many women had family responsibilities. i'm so glad we got together though. there was a small group, but i will be able to remember the names because of the small group. We had a very good discussion of each of our specialities. I received some good input for a talk on 'mental illness'. As a counselor I had been looking for some good topic points. Thanx gals. Lookin forward to June. Thanx Kelly and Christine for leading out. Eleanor Angeline ”
