We're not "Red Hatters", we're the Women in Red proving that 40 is twice as sexy as 20. This group is for women who are facing changes physically, mental-emotionally, and socially. With such activities as reading books, and attending movies/programs about womens' issues; participating as a group in local sporting and social events. Crossroads of Iowa develops a diversity of classes and events, mostly free with donations kindly accepted...with basic themes of personal enrichment and fun! What is your suggestion, your area of expertise? Classes and programs will eventually be incorporated into a transitional housing program for women leaving the Therapeutic Community Drug Treatment Program at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women, but ideally always including the community-at-large.

Bicycling in Central Iowa is fun and even more fun with others! If you are a woman any age that wants to get out and exercise with the girls on our great trail system, then join this group.  Bicycling is the best way to combine social with exercise and do some exploring.
